**Motive Offshore is looking for a Finance Apprentice to join their team, IT COULD BE YOU**

This opportunity will be supported by Digital Applications Support Modern Apprenticeship delivered by QA Ltd, with the opportunity to process onto an Accounting qualification in the future.

**Who you’ll be working for**:
Motive Offshore Group specialise in the manufacture, rental, and servicing of high-capacity marine equipment. Headquartered in Aberdeenshire, they have a global presence with offices in Texas, Taiwan, and UAE.

Motive Offshore are going through a rapid period of growth. Over the past two years, the Finance Team has expanded to nine people and now, the company is keen to nurture an apprentice with a passion for finance

**You will be responsible for**:

- Processing accounts payable transactions
- Reconciling supplier statements and reviewing/approving submitted expenses
- Responding to supplier enquiries
- Reviewing and monitoring open purchase orders and reports
- Supporting the wider finance team with administrative support
- Ensuring compliance with H&S and environmental regulations and the company’s management system
- Become a positive ambassador for Motive Offshore and develop strong working relationships with - suppliers, colleagues etc.

**You will need the following skills**:

- An interest and desire to develop a career in accounting
- Strong communications skills - written and verbal
- Ability to work within a team and to tight deadlines

**Salary**:
£14,000 - £16,000 per annum

**Working week**:
37.5 hours per week, with an 2:30pm finish on Fridays

**Future prospects**:
90% of QA apprentices secure permanent employment after completing: this is 20% higher than the national average.

**Important information**:
Throughout your apprenticeship you are supported by your skills coach and your account manager. They work with your line manager to ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.

At the end, as well as the valuable experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification.
