Serving a population of over 930,000 the Trust’s cancer activity is comparable to designated cancer centres, so if you thrive on a challenge and feel you can make a real difference to the care of cancer patients, this post maybe for you.
As a Skin Cancer CNS you will work as part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring that patients with skin malignancies receive the highest standard of care and support from the time of diagnosis and throughout the cancer pathway. Working in partnership with our specialist cancer providers you will manage these patients across the pathways of care.
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual, with excellent organisational skills and relevant post registration experience. You will be required to have experience in this field of skin cancer nursing. We require someone who can work both autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills being essential. You must have RGN level 1 with appropriate post registration qualification and post registration experience. You should have a first degree or be working towards this qualification and be committed to undertaking further study to meet service need.
