We are looking for passionate, caring individual who can provide a hands-on, fun, creative and an innovative environment for children in our pre-school.

Panda Pre-school has been established for over 20 years and operates over two sites in Oldham. As a non for profit pre-school, it is owned and managed by WFCDP and any profit goes back into the work of the charity.

Panda Chadderton is a pack away pre-school setting which can take up to 40 children per session and, has friendly welcoming team of 7 highly qualified staff which provides the highest standard of care and education within a unique environment in which children are actively encouraged to explore, learn and interact with others.

**Pre-school practitioners’ responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following**:

- Ensuring that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
- Observe, support, and extend children learning.
- Plan appropriately for children using the EYFS framework.
- Maintain accurate and effective children’s records.
- To develop and maintain professional relationships with families and external agencies.
- Demonstrate good working practice of inclusion and an understanding of EAL, and SEND
- Ensuring that all policies and procedures are embedded in daily practice,

**You must have**:

- Minimum of level 2 qualification in childcare or a recognised equivalent recognised by the DFE if Level 3 qualified a minimum L2 qualification in Maths & English Language is also required.
- In depth knowledge of the EYFS
- To have at least 1 years’ experience in a pre-school setting
- To have working knowledge of SEND, EAL and equal opportunities
- Committed to becoming a part of our hard-working team of practitioners.

This role will be supported by the Pre-school Manager and as organisation we support all staff through continuous professional development to ensure they have the effective knowledge to thrive and support the children in our setting.
