An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and self-driven Safety, Health & Environmental Officer to join the MBDA team. The role covers the UK and can be based at any of our sites. If you are passionate about safety, health and reducing our impact on the environment, this challenging but rewarding position may be for you.

**Salary**: Circa £35,000 dependent on experience + bonus + benefits

**Dynamic (hybrid) working**: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working, such as 3 days on-site and 2 days remote working each week.

**The opportunity**:
**What we're looking for from you**:

- Minimum NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Certificate in Environmental management (preferred).
- Significant experience and expertise in Safety, Health, Environment.
- Broad understanding of manufacturing and laboratory technologies.
- Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels in the organisation.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to translate complex information into easily understandable formats.
- Ability to design, develop and deliver SHE training effectively.

You will be part of a supportive and high performing team that exposes team members to all aspects of Safety, Health and Environment activities in the pursuit of professional development and team cohesion. The role will involve frequent travel to other MBDA UK locations.
