We’re seeking a talented **Associate Director - Investment Specialist **to join our Asset Management team in London, you will be supporting AUM growth across Evelyn Partners most important strategic channels including public, potential, and existing clients & 3rd party Financial Planners and Investment Managers.
The Financial Services division comprises the advisory and investment management services. Central to the division’s activities is the creation and oversight of its investment process which includes asset allocation and investment selection. Evelyn Partners’ investment methodology has been continually refined over a long period of time to cater for our clients’ broad range of circumstances and requirements. As long-term stewards, the sustainability of the investments that make up our client portfolios has always been an important consideration. Our belief is that a collegiate approach to investment decision-making results in the best client outcomes. This includes three key components:
- A fully integrated research function: the individuals who have responsibility for investment recommendations also provide investment and relationship management
- Central Strategy Team which provides macro and quantitative inputs and plays the leading role in drawing together the different elements of investment recommendations
**As the Associate Director - Investment Specialist your responsibilities will include among others**
- Central investment propositions: _
- Support in positioning Evelyn Partners as a leading capability by developing and devising regular ‘client friendly’ written presentations and commentary representing the investment process.
- Communicate relevant output and decision making from internal investment forums in a timely manner.
- Product positioning_
- Maintain a solid understanding of competitive positioning.
- Provide regular feedback to the Director Investment Specialist on key competitors and trends.
- Business Development _
- Provide topical market and strategy updates to the Director Investment Specialist on a regular basis.
- Liaise with the Business Development team to build and develop a business strategy to identify market opportunities to best position Evelyn partners against competitors.
- Communication and Marketing _
- Attend client meetings, seminars, and webinars, as requested, to represent and discuss the investment process, and product positioning.
**Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you should**
- Formal qualification such as the CFA a plus
- Market and investment knowledge and how this pertains to portfolio construction, and multi asset portfolios.
- Experienced presenter across multiple mediums and client types
- Solid people skills and experience managing multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to drive development of collateral and produce PowerPoint presentations.
- Prior experience using and interpreting data from any of Morningstar, Refinitiv and Trustnet
