**Software Project Lead / Lead Engineer**
Our client based in Bristol has a need for a Software Project Lead / Lead Engineer to join them in their mission critical role in the production and supply of Defence armaments required in these current times. Your input and leadership will make a real differenceand each individual will play a part in making the world a safer place.
As mentioned, the role is ion Bristol, it will be Hybrid, but you will be required to be onsite each week, so you need to be local or willing to relocate.
You will also need to be Security Cleared to work with classified information and to be Security Cleared you will need to be a UK National and have been in the country for at least 5 years.
**The role**:
You need to be a capable and adaptable Software Project Leader at the Bristol site to lead the development of surface launched defence products whilst maintaining our enviable reputation for safety, performance and dependability
**What we're looking for**
- You will need to be adaptable and creative as this role combines technical leadership, project management and team building aspects. The technical component is the largest part of the role, but it also includes elements of Software Project Management.
- A strong background in software, its realization and system wide impact with strong problem-solving skills
- You will favour a collaborative, open approach to development and have the ability to work well in a team and maintain momentum during development. The software that you develop will be used across multiple products at several sites, so strong communicationskills are crucial.
