Quarry Operative

We are seeking an Plant Operative to join our team to assist with the day-to-day running of both mobile and fixed plant for a customer based in St Ives, Cambs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate machinery safely and effectively, in line with the correct operating procedures
- Observe all health and safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
- Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
- Work cooperatively with the team to meet customer requirements and team targets
- To assist with general house keeping duties
- To assist with plant maintenance

For the role of the Plant Operative the following is what we are looking for in a future colleague
- Knowledge of Quarrying and plant operations is desirable
- Good Timekeeping - Flexible approach to assisnt with daily production targets/ requirements
- Good Communication skills
- Able to raise problems to the attention of site supervisors/ management
- Enthusiastic and keen to learn new skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- IT Literate

Full training will be given prior to commencement of the role

**Salary**: From £12.50 per hour
