**Purpose of the role**:
To provide the group of companies with a professional and efficient Human Resources organisation, supporting and advising Directors and Line Managers with related issues, ensuring that regulatory and legal requirements are met and that efficiencies and productivityinitiatives throughout the organisation are supported. Oversee and communicate with the Payroll Administrator.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Support Managers with extensive Employee Relations issues and deliver expert advice.
- Serve as a link between the business, management and employees.
- Lead Disciplinary and Grievance investigations and coach Line Managers, type and
record notes.
- Chair Disciplinary Hearings and coach Line Managers.
- Support with redundancy process.
- Ensuring employee contracts are correct and updated.
- Assist with setting staff performance objectives, review and update processes.
- Coach and lead Line Managers with Performance Management give clear direction.
- Participate in the Implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help
align the work force with the strategic goals of the organisation.
- Ensure that the business is legally compliant and ensure that the Employment Handbook is
up to date.
- Draft and update Policy and Procedures - to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
- Support with interviews and job offers, provide advice on recruitment and selection
strategies.
- Negotiate rates with Employment Agencies.
- Instigate mediation meetings between staff - resolution to work place disputes.
- Coach and mentor Line Managers with HR internal processes.
- Manage and coordinate branch attendance and holiday requests.
- Instigate Exit Interviews, collate information.
- Deliver all company Induction.
- Manage the administration of staff records ensuring CAA and HMRC proficient.
- Monitor sickness Absence/instigate return to work interviews, monitor long term sickness.
- Draft revised staff T & C's.
- Regularly review contractual arrangements providing Senior Management with expert
advice
- Manage a team of 3, deliver appraisals and set goals.
- Arrange and lead HR weekly team meetings.
- Carry out bench marking exercises, compare salary data.
**Skills needed**:
- CIPD qualified
- Proven HR experience with 10years +
- Proven Leadership skills
- Solid Knowledge of employment legislation.
- Good Knowledge of Employment Law
- Ability to manage Grievance and Disciplinary issues
- Competent knowledge of Payroll
- Self-motivated professional with the ability to work under own autonomy or as part of a
Team.
Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm
