Our client who focuses solely on the acquisition and management of non-life insurance/reinsurance companies in run-off. Provides efficient exit solutions and capital management strategies to counterparties with legacy or non-core (re)insurance business

The data controller is responsible for managing and overseeing the protection of data within the organization. This includes ensuring that adequate and appropriate procedures are in place to ensure that data is accurate, up-to-date, and secure.

**Key skills required**:

- Knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Understanding of data protection best practices and industry standards
- Knowledge of data protection risk assessment and management techniques
- Experience in developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures
- Experience in conducting data protection impact assessments
- Familiarity with technical measures for data protection, such as encryption and access controls Understanding of IT security principles and practices
- Experience in responding to data breaches and other incidents involving the loss or unauthorized access to data
- Knowledge of relevant software and tools for data protection, such as data privacy management platforms
- The ability to facilitate changes in processes across an organisation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to analyse and interpret complex data
- Relevant professional certifications such as the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
