**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing support and assistance to 16 - 18 year old children. This role requires compassion, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work 1:1 and/or with in a team setting.

All positions are on a self employed basis and this is an excellent opportunity for someone, to effectively work for themselves, but have the reassurance your are working within a supportive and effective team.

experience not essential, training will be given and support working towards level 3/4 diploma provided.

remuneration will be discussed at interview as well as discussions of working hours.

The Win ( **What I Need** )Project hopes to provide an excellent environment for young people to develop those important skills for independent living, building confidence in decision making, accepting responsibility for their own actions and working with them to be able to move on to independent living.

We aim to work with our colleagues to have a good work life balance, remuneration will be discussed at interview as will preferred working rota.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support children to be the best version of themselves
- Assist with supporting education and every day living and development
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues and other stake holders
- Support young people to be independent
- sleep in shifts required
- Utilise IT systems for record-keeping and reporting

**Skills**:

- Experience working with children but not essential
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of supported living and childcare practices but not essential
- Ability to drive and hold a valid driver's licence but not essential
- Proficiency in IT systems for documentation

Enhanced DBS is required and preferably signed up to the update service

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Work Location: In person
