An award-winning restaurant and bar chain is opening a new venue in Gatwick Airport this new year. We are looking for an experienced and energetic Host/Hostess.

This venue will have a full 18hr a day offering with breakfast lunch and dinner options throughout. Alongside this we will have a delicious array of cocktails, spirits, beers, wines and soft drinks, all geared towards ensuring every guest enjoys their visit in a relaxed yet fast paced environment.

Gatwick is one of the busiest and most vibrant airports in the world and so the opportunity to work here and open this new venture is one not to be missed. We are seeking to hear from self motivated and out of the box thinking Host/Hostess, ones who know how to have fun, but deliver a world class service above all else

Our guests overall experience is in your hands and as such we are looking for a Host/Hostess who is:

- Passionate about people and can deliver world class service
- Passionate about hospitality & wine
- Who is well presented and trustworthy
- Who loves interacting with our guests
- Who works well as part of a team
- Who can inspire and motive a team

You will need to be highly social, up-beat and friendly. Any relevant qualifications such as WSET are advantageous but not essential.

The Role:

- Guiding our guests through the Vagabond wine experience, advising and informing our guests about our wines
- Creating an appropriate atmosphere for guests
- Providing a point of contact for customer feedback and helping to resolve any customer issues
- Providing personalised service and assistance for large parties of guests and VIPs
- Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Supporting and guiding the team
- Assisting with the opening and closing of the restaurant
