Restaurant Supervisor

We are recruiting for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor for our Bar and Restaurant. You will be required to work flexible hours to suit the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends, and have the ability to work in, and lead, a small, dynamic team.

Previous experience in a similar environment is essential and full hotel specific training will be given. From time to time you may be required to operate within other departments throughout the hotel.

Main Responsibilities:

- Running shifts in the Bar and Restaurant alongside and in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
- Understanding the current F&B offering, and looking at ways to improve and maximise opportunities.
- Ensuring the team are engaged to upsell additional items as required.
- Serving guests behind the bar, taking orders and ensuring that service runs smoothly and guests are satisfied.
- Dealing with any compliments and complaints as and when they arise ensuring swift and satisfactory outcomes to ensure guest satisfaction, and communicating these to the relevant departments as necessary.
- Ensuring efficient communication between the kitchen and F&B teams.
- Attend and help to lead team meetings, and carry out efficient team training as required.
- Assist with stock control and ordering at the direction of the Restaurant Manager.
