Long-established and well-respected independent firm of Accountants based in North Kent now has a new and very exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Client Manager.

Fantastic array of clients that have bene with the business for a long-time, and of acourse, an opportunity to bring new clients into the firm.

This position is being recruited as a consequence of growth within the practice and this is an excellent time to be joining the business. You will have lots of autonomy and there are excellent internal progression prospects on offer.

As a Client Manager based near Gravesend, your responsibility will be to:
Manage a varied portfolio of clients across individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and Limited companies.

Prepare statutory accounts and management accounts and some more complex bookkeeping

Prepare corporation tax, personal tax and VAT returns

Support and help develop the work of more junior staff

Help develop and grow the firm's client base, providing additional services to existing clients, and helping onboard new businesses.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified ACA/ACCA or part qualified or qualified by experience with at least 5 years general practice experience
- Must be competent in all aspects of accounts and taxation work
- Be fully conversant with accounting and tax standards and demonstrate skilled commercial acumen
- Ability to prioritise, work on own initiative and meet deadlines
- Have excellent IT skills; MS Office and preferably knowledge of TaxCalc, Sage and Xero
- Be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
