We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide essential support to individuals with learning disabilities. You will work independently, addressing care needs as outlined in personal plans while ensuring high standards of social care. To be considered, you must hold a full UK driving licence, have access to your own vehicle, and maintain business insurance. This role will involve working in various areas across North and South Lanarkshire, with your locations varying throughout the week.

Your role will include delivering flexible support services, conducting risk assessments, and assisting with daily tasks. You will help individuals develop life skills, manage personal budgets, and support their involvement in work, leisure, education, and employment opportunities.

Effective communication, promoting equality, and social inclusion are key aspects of the role. An SVQ Level 3 is ideal, but previous experience is also beneficial. Membership in the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC are mandatory.
