Maintenance Assistant

As a Maintenance Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in the upkeep of our venues, assisting with event setup and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests and wedding couples. If you have a can-do attitude, hands-on skills, and a passion for beautiful spaces, this role could be perfect for you

Key Responsibilities:
**General Maintenance**: Perform daily checks to ensure the smooth operation of the building, grounds, and equipment.
**Guest & Venue Support**: Support the housekeeping, bar, and events teams in setting up rooms and moving furniture for weddings and other events.
**Venue Safety**: Enhance guest safety by placing signage for wet floors, fresh paint, or other maintenance needs.
**Upkeep of Public Spaces**: Keep public areas tidy and well-maintained, contributing to the venue’s elegant atmosphere.
**Repairs & Upkeep**: Perform general maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs, painting, decorating, and other DIY tasks as needed.
**Facility Checks**: Conduct regular checks on gas and kerosene levels, drains, bio units, and bins to ensure efficient operation.
**Hot Tub Maintenance**: Clean and maintain hot tubs, ensuring a pristine experience for guests.

About You:
**Practical Skills**: You have general DIY and maintenance skills, with experience in basic repairs and upkeep.
**Physically Fit**: Comfortable moving furniture and handling larger items as part of setup and takedown for events.
**Attentive & Proactive**: You’re detail-oriented, with good listening skills to understand the needs of guests and coworkers.
**Strong Communicator**: Clear and effective in your communication with both team members and guests.
**Reliable & Professional**: You take ownership of tasks, work well with others, and consistently deliver high standards.
