BF Mulholland LTD, part of the DD family,is a full service Dental Dealer established in 1969 and has been a full member of the British Dental Trade Association for over 35 years. We are based on the outskirts of Glenavy, within easy reach of Belfast.

We are seeing a **Senior Stock Controller** to join our Stock Control Department.

Reporting to theOperations and Facilities Manager, the role will be based in our Crumlin office. Your responsibility in this role will be to provide full assistance and support to the Operations and Facilities Manager regarding the daily requirements ofthe department. In particular, the downstream element of stock, stock control, batches and stock holding. Also contribute towards assistance and support to the Purchasing manager and maintain a high standard of stock control.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- To give clear instruction to members of the stock department team and to carry out promptly and efficiently all instruction given by Operations manager and Purchasing manager
- To ensure all stock queries are bought to the attention of Operations/Purchasing managers
- Maintain high standard of stock control, including stock counts dead stock/expiry dates and audits.
- To work with Goods in to ensure urgent stocks are pushed through as a priority.
- Working with Operations to decide and plan how to reduce dead stock and stock expiry
- Report on service levels to various and agreed customer channels.
- To work with Purchasing team with regards to Scheduled orders, to ensure we are not over stocked or under stocked causing back orders
- Creating various backorder reports and sharing with the team ensuring all information is filled in and provided.
- To report and monitor the company stock adjustments (write off’s/write on’s) and how it impacts the business
- To work within the company as a Team Member and undertake any other such duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.
- To participate in all relevant Quality Programs and assist as required in quality initiatives including ISO9002
- Where necessary to take advantage of any training considered necessary to the company.
- Work along side both Goods in and Goods out teams, to ensure an efficient service is maintained.
- Be responsible for organising and completing product recalls.

**Skills Required**:
- Knowledge of Standard Operations Procedures.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Good knowledge of Stock Control
- Computer literate
- Knowledge and experience with Sage software package - in particular the stock control features.

**Experience Required**:

- Experience in leadership of small team
- Experience in use of warehouse management systems
- Previous stock control experience.
