**The Role: Digital Design & Implementation Manager**
**Contract: 6-month FTC**
**Salary: £50,000 - £55,000**
**Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid)**
**Start date: ASAP**
As the Digital Design & Implementation Manager, you and your Digital Design & Implementation Leads will work with a team of skilled Designers, Front End Developers and Digital Implementation Specialists. You will advise on the creative design, processes,structures and workflow activities to achieve the effective delivery and build of on-site merchandising across the GM&C (General Merchandise & Clothing) eCommerce channels.
You will collaborate with your wider eCommerce teams and use data to deliver inspiring content and explore new opportunities to drive customer engagement and conversion. You will also work alongside Product teams to help develop their roadmap relating toCMS (Content Management System) requirements. You also establish strong and robust ways of working with other key teams across the business including Marketing and Financial Services.
**What you need to do**
- You will be accountable for the design and implementation of digital content to support product discovery across the GM&C digital channels. (Web/Mobile/Apps/Digital Store Browser) ensuring the commercial targets for GM&C eCommerce is achieved.
- Delivering the highest quality digital outputs to create engaging online shopping experiences for your categories, you will ensure that all work undertaken by the team is executed to the highest standards and delivers an engaging shopping experience atevery stage of the customer journey.
- You will work collaboratively with teams and leads in the Digital Operating Centre in Mumbai and advise on best practices to improve ways of working and increase team knowledge, efficiency and effectiveness.
- Working closely with Brand Marketing teams, you will help interpret the brand guidelines around visual identity and tone of voice for each brand into appropriate digital execution.
- You will work closely with the Digital Trading, Planning & Content teams to ensure the commercial targets for eCommerce are achieved. Continuously considering best practices and improvement opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with Product teams, working alongside the Digital Development Lead to understand and help develop the product roadmap.
- Maintaining strong operational ways of working with the CX & UX teams, ensuring usability and accessibility are prioritised within the content created.
- Establish strong and robust ways of working with stakeholders outside of Digital where necessary e.g. Retail, Contact Centre, Brand Marketing, Marketing Promotions, and Financial Services.
**What you need to know and show**
- You will establish strong ways of working, processes and communication with the Digital QA teams, Digital Trading and Content teams to ensure digital design & implementation requirements are agreed upon and delivered (e.g. BAU Assets, New Static Pages,and Supplier Shops etc.).
- You have experience working in a digital design environment including a good understanding of front-end development practices ( eg HTML, CSS).
- Your high-quality actions, based on data & insight, underpin your and your team's success. It is desirable that you have experience using data analytics, customer behaviour and site performance tools such as Adobe Analytics, SessionCam, Content Square,Screaming Frog, Eggplant etc. and will guide your team in the effective use of these insight tools. You will have the ability to communicate insights and recommendations consistently and effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience and knowledge of a Content Management system i.e. Magnolia would be essential.

- You will have a good understanding of current trends & challenges within the industry.
- You will be capable of influencing to a director level across the wider Commercial Trading, Digital and Marketing teams along with any other relevant functions.
- You will be expected to represent Digital Content, Design & Implementation (and on occasions the wider GM&C eCommerce team) and participate in and contribute to a variety of forums and meetings, often with senior stakeholders.
- You can participate in technical discussions around Digital Design & Implementation tools (e.g. test environments, CMS, Elastic search) and actively drive development initiatives and opportunities.
- You will understand how your role and team contribute to the overall strategy of the business.
- You will have a strong analytical capability to cut through challenges in a complex and dynamic marketplace.
**What decisions I can make including budget**
- You will be aware of the financial impacts of decisions and ensure risks & opportunities are mitigated/flagged to the budget holder.
- You are responsible for the fast and effective implementation of changes and updates to our digital channels will deliver incremental sales benefits.
- Ownership of Digital design guidelines - adapting Brand, Digital and Campaign guidelines to best suit Digital platforms.
