**Early Help Practitioner - Bournemouth**

We are currently looking to recruit an Early Help Practitioner within a Childrens Social Services in the Bournemouth area.

**Responsibilities include**:

- identify children and families who would benefit from early help
- undertake an assessment of the need for early help
- provide targeted early help services to address the assessed needs of a child and their family which focuses on activity to improve the outcomes for the child
- Levels of need and continuum of support - Thresholds
- Getting support
- Bournemouth Early Help Assessment and Support Plan
- Issues affecting children and families
- Workforce development programme
- Free tools and resources for working with children.
- Young people and their parents

**Experience preferred**:
Minimum of 12 months' experience of working within the Health and Social Care sector as a Early Help Practitioner in the UK.

**The team**:

- Well-structured organised team, growing their staffing levels.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- 1 year experience in a similar role within the UK
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care
