Pure are working exclusively with a fantastic client in Great Dunmow who require an Payroll/ Accounts Professional to join the finance team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with payroll experience to join a lovely team with hybrid working.
This role will take full responsibility for the payroll function for around 100 employees across 4 different payrolls and general accounts support to the Finance team.
Duties will include:
To complete all payroll processes.
Processing P45’s, P46’s and all statutory payments
Pension Auto Enrolment
Calculation, payment and reconciliation of payroll taxes and Attachment of Earnings.
Liaise with HMRC and third parties regarding payroll deductions.
Making payment requests.
Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.
Dealing with queries and escalations.
Checking and auditing the validity of payroll data in line with government regulations and keeping up to date with legislation.
Developing and refining existing payroll procedures.
Reconcile control accounts for payroll, pensions and HMRC.
Assisting employees with queries or questions relating to payroll or benefits.
Assist with the annual statutory audit.
Ad hoc duties to support the SL & PL functions.
General support and assistance to the Financial Controller.
To validate, process and reconcile employees’ expenses.
Aiding the credit control department in chasing outstanding debtors, credit limit reviews.
Reconciliation of proforma invoice receipts - ensuring all monies are received in accordance with company procedures.
Support in processing purchase ledger invoices and supplier payments.
Any other duties as reasonably required by the Management Team.
