Tricorn Café is a food & beverage service provider that is responsible for the operation of Tricorn Café at Tricorn House in Birmingham.

The purpose of the role:
To for assist with operation of Café, including preparing high quality products and providing excellent levels of customer care.

We are looking for a Café Front of House to help prepare and serve food and drinks whilst providing high levels of customer care to those using the café facilities.

Main tasks & responsibilities:
Assisting with day-to-day operations of the café

Preparing and serving food, making beverages, taking customer orders and collecting money

Attend training on food & drinks preparation and proper use of coffee and other equipment

Receiving delivered café supplies and verifying that the correct items and quantities have been delivered.

Maintain updated records relating to hygiene, food safety, and health & safety

Suggesting new menu items based on customers' preferences and feedback.

Ensure all café areas are clean and tidy

Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation

Willingness to attend training as appropriate, including Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety training and refresher training as appropriate.

To undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities required at any time

Essential experience & skills:
Good math skills

Availability to work within opening hours

Good communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team

Good organizational and time management skills.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Desirable experience & skills:
Work experience within a hospitality or F&B setting

Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines

Food Hygiene Level 2

Any other catering or hospitality related qualifications
