King’s Breast Care has been established as a single clinical entity for over 20 years. The department was initially set up to combine surgery and oncology, but now includes Gynae, Endocrine, Plastic Reconstruction, Psychiatric and Psychological liaison, Breast screening assessment, Day Surgery pre-assessment and Physiotherapy. At Denmark Hill (DH) site the unit is co-located with the Screening Assessment Unit for the NHSBSP in SE London.
