Rare Book Lister

Working in the growing World of Rare Books (WORB) stock processing team, you will contribute to the department’s growth strategy through processing of stock and listing inventory for sale. This is a great opportunity to work with fellow book lovers in a quiet but fast-paced environment where you will receive training and grow your knowledge.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Writing accurate, professional listings of vintage pre-ISBN books ready for sale online.
- Providing a good quality image of each book, giving customers confidence to buy.
- Achieving a target of 25 completed listings per hour balancing quality and quantity.
- Liaising with the wider WORB team to ensure the smooth running of the department
- Providing occasional cover for operational tasks such as picking of orders, stock sorting and stock movement.

**To succeed you will also need**:

- Fluent English language skills (reading and writing) - essential.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good IT skills including data entry, ability to use PDAs, webcams and Company systems.
- Experience in a target driven role would be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and experience of working in a team
- A proven ability to work independently and manage a work load with little supervision.

The role involves some manual handling throughout the day, the individual must be comfortable with lifting and moving totes of stock weighing up to 25kg.

**Please note**: Hours of work for this early morning shift role will be 37.5 hours/week working Monday - Friday, 6.30am to 2.30pm.
