This is a dual role split between multi drop driver and warehouse operative. Due to our ongoing expansion, fantastic opportunity arisen for an experienced driver / warehouse operative to join a well renowned and long established family food service business in Accrington. The role is predominantly warehouse, however at times of drivers on holiday, sickness or emergency the role will be driving duties. Warehouse Role - General warehouse duties, including stock in, picking and stock dispatch. Permanent **Salary**: £30,500 /year - Paid fortnightly by BACS, working first week in hand. £587 per week. The role is Monday to Friday Hours 4.30am-1.30pm - 42.5 working hours per week with 30 mins unpaid break per day. Driving Hours - Job till finish - NB If the day goes past 1.30pm then the extra time worked will be given back when business is quiet, so as average hours worked is 42.5. Warehouse Hours - 4.30am-1.30pm. 28 days holiday - 20 days hol + 8 bank holidays, accrued over a 12 month period We will offer you full support and on-going training to help you to progress both personally and professionally, Free parking facilities and a family company working environment that comes from our Directors. **Requirements**: Drivers load there own vehicles so product is hand lifted onto the van and orders are picked from invoice when taking off the van, so at times this can be a physically demanding role so you must also be physically fit, not afraid of heavy lifting and hard work when needed, highly motivated with a "can do" attitude. As you are delivering to set customers, over time you get to know the customers well and you become the first face of the company so excellent customer service skills and polite manner are vital. **Qualifications and Skills** - manual Handling training (preferred) - GCSE C or above in Maths & English (preferred) - NB: Please note proof of driving license & (or) cpc card and tacho card needs to be brought to interview if successful in reaching this stage .**Language**: - English (required) **PLEASE NOTE**: **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £30,500.00 per year **Benefits**: - Employee discount - On-site parking Application question(s): - can you please confirm how you qualify to drive 7.5t vehicles - Tacho card and CPC card or Grandfather rights - Please confirm YES if 3 penalty points or less on License.
