The role of an East Midlands Area Secretary is to provide a comprehensive and professional secretarial and administration service to a dedicated Area Leadership Team (ALT). This might also include other members of the Leadership Team(s) such as Team Leaders and Senior Officers. You may also be required to support the wider department with efficient delivery of the area's business objectives.- 3 x 12 month fixed term positions are available. Posts may become permanent in the future.
The team
- Delivering a professional service:
- We work as a team to be the first point of contact for many of our internal and external customers. We will always provide positive responses and provide first class customer service to ensure effective relationship building and partnership working.
Experience/skills required
- You will have previous experience working in similar admin roles supporting senior managers.
- You will be able to work efficiently and effectively at a fast pace to constantly shifting deadlines and parameters without compromising on quality.
- You will possess effective communication skills. Some experience in taking action points/minutes at senior management meetings.
- You will be able to pick up new IT systems quickly and be competent in using IT services such as Microsoft office programmes (for example Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
- You will have the ability to work proactively whilst being primarily unsupervised.

- The role will be based in our Nottingham Area office in West Bridgford with some flexibility to work from home. All required equipment will be provided.
