**The Role**

We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, organised individual with relevant European road freight experience to help add value to our growing forwarding and charter operation in Manchester.

You will be able to communicate effectively, cost transport, quote export and import, operate and control all movements, maximise profitability whilst providing excellent levels of customer service at every opportunity. The role will involve account management, quoting prospective customers, liaising with UK and European suppliers, customs management, operational and office support.

A good standard of written English and basic mathematical understanding is essential.

Requirements for the role:

- An enthusiastic, committed, flexible and can-do approach.
- At least 5 years’ experience in an International road freight environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative.
- A strong commercial awareness or acumen.
- Excellent time management abilities with a positive team working attitude.
