E Park and Sons Limited are a leading packer and wholesaler of fresh potatoes to many blue chip retail customers and food processors.

We are seeking to recruit additional Team Members to join our Quality Assurance team.

**Job Overview**:
Our QA Assistants work closely with Shift Managers, Line Leaders and team members to ensure customer compliance on all orders.

Adhering to quality and food safety standards to ensure the integrity and authenticity of all raw material and finished goods during the production process.

**Working 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 6am to 6pm.**

Full Time. Permanent

Pay Rates: Basic rate £11.17 per hour Overtime rate £13.84 per hour

**Primary duties & responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that production processes are followed in line with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Monitoring Line leaders through the GMP Line Audits
- Accurately completing all necessary documentation for regulatory compliance
- To ensure each production run has the appropriate quality checks completed at each necessary stage of the process and a corresponding record of product packed recorded on the Daily Give Away Sheet for each line.
- Liaise with the Line Leaders and Night Shift Production Manager if there are any issue with the line, product or process.
- The ability to follow instructions and achieve the targets and job standards that have been set out by the Management Team.
- Performing record keeping tasks, ensuring all required paperwork is completed promptly, fully and accurately.
- An in-depth knowledge of our customer products is necessary
- Previous experience in a QA role within a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food sector is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
- Able to demonstrate good communication, and collaboration skills
- Expected to work proactively to ensure production quality standards are maintained
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving techniques.
- Work as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail is essential.
- To perform any reasonable request from a member of the Management Team.
- Promote good working practices
