We are looking for a 'rising star' who wants to demonstrate their potential and create an impression. We believe in using only the best products we possibly can and are determined to deliver excellent value, quality food and service to our customers.
You will need to be passionate about food with a craft background and in particular take responsibility for motivating & leading the catering team as well as planning, preparing & serving fresh, tasty and imaginative food to the highest standards and exceedingour customers' expectations.
**You will**:
- Support the smooth running of kitchen services and maintain hygiene standards.
- Plan and deliver menus within agreed budget with Chef Managers.
- Manage and develop staff to achieve the highest standard of work promoting a positive team spirit.
- Manage budgets and cash control.
- Manage stock to ensure adequate supplies are available to meet customer demand.
- Liaise with the client to ensure issues are dealt with and problems are resolved.
- Ensure a professional image is presented.
- Be able to manage multi catering sites with holiday / sickness cover
**To succeed in this role you will need**:
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification - e.g. Food Hygiene Certificate
- Experience as a Chef with a passion for food
- A sound understanding of food cost control
- Excellent client relationship and customer care skills
- Full driving licence
