Senior Carer

We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Carer to lead and support care teams in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to clients. You’ll oversee daily care activities, mentor junior staff, and ensure residents' dignity, safety, and wellbeing at all times.

**Key Duties**
- Supervise and support care staff in delivering personal care
- Assist with care planning and risk assessments
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or wellbeing
- Administer medication (if trained and authorised)
- Liaise with families, health professionals, and external agencies
- Maintain accurate care records and reports
- Promote independence, dignity, and respect in all care tasks
- Support onboarding and training of new care staff
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety policies

**Requirements**:

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health & Social Care
- Previous experience in a care or senior care role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
- Medication administration training (desirable)
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
