If you are a maths or finance / economics graduate, looking for a supportive and friendly Finance team, our Commercial Finance Analyst position might be perfect for you.

This role will report into the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, and will sit as part of our wider finance team, supporting the Group. The finance team delivers exemplary customer service to the business, so we are looking for someone who has good stakeholdermanagement and influencing skills. Day to day, you will be assisting with forecasting and producing analysis which will help guide critical business decisions. The role will help with monthly reporting to key stakeholders, and to assist with forecasting forkey strategic aims for the Play Sports Group business.

This role will be based from our Bath offices a few days per week, so you'll need the right to work in the UK and the ability to commute to Bath regularly.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Produce the monthly reporting packs for distribution to the Board.
- Manage revenue forecasting for our YouTube channels.
- Forecast revenue for SHIFT Marketing Agency business.
- Working closely with our partners at Eurosport to complete a race rights financial forecast.
- Be Finance Business Partner on our online retail business as well as Commercial teams.
- Preparing and reconciling the monthly forecast that is uploaded to the Discovery financial planning system.
- Assisting the FP&A Manager in the preparation of analysis for ad hoc business reviews.

Skills and Experience:

- Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Commercial awareness.
- Ability to assimilate and present financial information.
- Numerate, with strong Excel/ GoogleSheets skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles relevant to a commercial finance role, including revenue recognition principles.
