**Overview**

**Duties**:

- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
- Help with meal preparation and cooking tasks as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces are clean and sanitised.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing food items appropriately.
- Participate in regular cleaning schedules, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.

**Skills**:

- Experience in meal preparation and the art of butchery is advantageous, but not a necessity.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is beneficial but not essential.
- The applicant must be punctual and work efficiently.
- Strong teamwork skills with an eagerness to help others is essential.
- A passion for cooking and catering, with a willingness to learn new techniques.

Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
