**About Your Opportunity**:
**An opportunity to shape the digital transformation journey in Configuration Management for key UK Defence programs.**

You will lead the Configuration Management function, ensuring we successfully deliver across a variety of key Defence programmes spanning a variety of exciting areas such as maritime, aerospace, cybersecurity and communications.

**Your** Responsibilities**:

- Accountable to Operating Unit Director for ensuring all programs have the right process and tools to drive good configuration management.
- Process Owner for Configuration Management to create and maintain best practice
- Develop and Drive the Configuration Management Strategy
- Manage the Configuration Management Team
- Provide Governance for Configuration Management for all programs

**Your Experience**:

- Demonstrated functional knowledge of hardware and software configuration management tools, best practices, and industry standards.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and direct project teams on proper configuration control for major programs or multiple smaller programs.
- Experience of PLM/MRP/ERP Tools such as Windchill and SAP.
- HNC/D or Degree in Engineering
- Proven work experience within Configuration management, alongside experience of leading a team in a management position.
