An exciting secondment opportunity for 2 years (fixed term may be considered) has arisen to join our Community Learning Disabilities Teams covering the Swansea and Neath area as part of a CHC assessment project team supporting a vital part of patient care.
Working as part of the Team and closing with the community learning disability team, the post holder will provide project support for the CHC assessment project team as part of the Swansea Bay University Health Board; they will support the management of more complex or sensitive projects by managing or assisting with elements of them on behalf of more senior team members.
The post holder will be required to support, facilitate and monitor the progress of the CHC assessment Project service improvement, reporting progress and issues to more senior staff. Working as part of the project team they will also be required to provide administration, support, training and guidance.
The Senior Project Support Officer will also be responsible for ensuring that policies, procedures and the administration required for the projects or improvements that they are involved with are developed / implemented and that programme policies are adhered to. The post holder will also ensure that standard project management methodologies are applied to progress and successfully deliver projects.
Manage elements of the CHC project and assist with elements of the project to ensure the service delivers on the strategic objectives.
To plan, support, facilitate and monitor elements of projects or work streams throughout the project lifecycle to deliver benefits using project management methodology
To provide all administrative support required to scope, plan, deliver and support the project team and the CLDT team requirements.
Manage the project actions. a work package or a work-stream, taking appropriate actions such as monitoring progress against plans and reporting any slippage or capturing and monitoring progress against issues and risks, and escalating changes to risk and issue status as appropriate
