Hopetown Darlington opened its doors this summer as the region’s most exciting and newest visitor attraction. This ambitious project extends across a 7.5-acre site and encompasess a wagon themed play park, an immersive time travel experience ride, and a gallery to watch live engineering in action. In addition, visitors can enjoy touring exhibitions, a reimagined state of the art museum and entertaining festivals and events for the whole family.

A spacious café and shop are also part of this incredible site which is steeped in Darlington’s rail heritage and will offer a family day out like no other. The venue will attract upwards of 300,000 visits annually, of which up to 100,000 are expected to be from outside the region. Hopetown Darlington is seeking inspired and driven individuals who can bring personality, energy and enthusiasm to the team.

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor you will oversee and have input into the daily operations of the café whilst leading a catering team. This will include compliance with all HACCAP and health & safety policies. You will develop, prepare and present a diverse and creative menu, be the lead Barista and possess excellent product knowledge and catering skills. A dynamic and focused approach to sales and KPI’s is required, including the ability to work our EPOS system.

You will bring an energetic, positive, can-do approach to this front facing role. As an ambassador for Hopetown Darlington, it is crucial you deliver exceptional customer service and lead your team by example.
