My client is an established and ambitious housing provider, with a portfolio of over 10,000 homes across the country and a diverse range of business streams. With some established board members due to retire in the next 12 months they are looking to recruitsuitably qualified and experienced individuals as part of their succession planning. They expect that the non-executive appointment will bring fresh ideas and a commitment to the Group's vision and values.The Chair of Audit Committee is a particularly importantrole, and they are keen to attract applications from individuals with a strong background in audit, finance and risk.You will bring substantial board experience and a track record in Audit/Risk committees either as a chair or committee member. Recent and relevantfinancial experience at a strategic level including knowledge of current financial reporting standards, corporate governance best practice and the current debate around audit quality and delivery is expected. Whilst sector related experience is not requiredit is key that the role holder has been involved in Audit Committees previously and ideally has previously held a NED position.As part of the role, you will also be appointed as a non-executive director on their registered provider boards.
