**Purpose of the Role**

This exciting new Compliance Support opportunity has arisen to join our East Anglia team to work closely with your own business unit, and the wider Ethos Risk and Compliance (2nd Line) function to audit staff in line with internal and FCA requirements, provide feedback, identify trends and assist in the month end compliance data as well as assist with training requirements arising out of audits.

The role ideally needs to be based 1 or 2 days per week in our Norwich or Haverhill offices but we could consider one of our other offices such as Royston or Saffron Walden. You will need to be able to attend the other East Anglia offices, as the business requires, which is estimated to be 3 or 4 times per month. The remaining days can be working remotely.

**What you will do**

This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more:

- Complete monthly QA audits, give feedback, follow up development identified from the audits and maintain a tracker of feedback.
- Deliver audit training for all new and existing staff.
- Respond to staff audit queries.
- Implement and provide training on changes arising out of audits.
- Identify audit failure trends.
- Review repudiation of commercial claims.
- Maintain a claims repudiation log.

**Who we are looking for**

This is an opportunity for an organised individual from within the insurance market who has attention to detail and strength to work independently and as part of a team. We are looking for someone who is/has:

- Knowledge of an insurance Policy Administration System.
- Insurance experience, ideally from a broker.
- Knowledge of FCA regulations and requirements and current issues.
- Ability to identify solutions to problems and implement change.
- Demonstrably able to use their own initiative, prioritise their own workload, changing workloads and work accurately to deadlines.
