**Senior Software Engineer (Applied Sciences)**

**Fully Remote**

Are you a competent Senior Software Engineer that has a thirst for working in a highly innovative environment? This position will offer you the ability to work on an array of projects across multiple industry verticals. My client is looking for a SeniorSoftware Engineer, who first and foremost is a hands-on coder and has a passion for what great engineering looks like You will also have the chance to support the transformation and modernisation of their software environment. Evidently this is a once ina lifetime opportunity to work with one of the best F1 teams in the world and shape the future of their software capabilities.

(No previous F1 experience required and you don't' need to be a raving fan of the sport either)

**What we need from you**:

- Solid experience as a hands-on engineer developing in high performing software teams
- Educated to degree level
- Ability to technical lead junior members of the team
- Good understanding of Microservices, APIs and working in an Agile environment
- Strong experience of at least one OO programming language
- Experience working across several operating systems
- Experience working with DevOps tools and concepts
- Excellent communicator with a passion for setting high standards or software excellence

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Mentor the software development team, building a supportive environment and developing capabilities to ensure the smooth delivery of major technical projects.
- Be a key point of contact for new software requirements and internal stakeholder management.
- Enhance existing systems, ensuring sustainable solutions, whilst building the functionality of the future.
- Streamline our software engineering projects and processes with the team, ensuring seamless customer experiences and advocating best practices.
- Provide architectural advice and guidance.
