Software Engineer

Fully remote

Are you a competent Software Engineer that has a thirst for working in a highly innovative environment? This appointment will offer you the ability to work on an array of projects across multiple industry verticals. My client (top F1 team but working acrossboth F1 and their Applied area) is looking for a Software Engineer, who first and foremost is a hands on coder and has a passion for what good engineering looks like You will also have the chance to support the transformation and modernisation of their softwareenvironment. Evidently this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with one of the best F1 teams in the world and shape the future of their software capabilities. (No previous F1 experience required and you don't' need to be a raving fan of the sporteither)

Skills/experience:

- Solid experience as a hands on engineer developing in high performing software teams
- Educated to degree level
- Strong experience of at least one OO programming language
- Experience working across a number of operating systems
- Any experience working with DevOps tools and concepts and in an Agile environment a bonus
- Excellent communicator with a passion for setting high standards or software excellence

**Responsibilities**:

- Working with the software development team, building a supportive environment and developing capabilities to ensure the smooth delivery of major technical projects.
- Be a key point of contact for new software requirements and internal stakeholder management.
- Enhance existing systems, ensuring sustainable solutions, whilst building the functionality of the future.
- Streamline our software engineering projects and processes with the team, ensuring seamless customer experiences and advocating best practices.
