The Role & Responsibilities

The Intermediary Governance & Oversight Executive will be responsible for the delivery of all new broker accreditations, assisting the external field Sales team with admin duties and supporting the Intermediary Oversight Manager.

This role will entail updating, maintaining, and authorizing Broker details, assisting the Intermediary Governance & Oversight Manager with regulatory audits such as FCA permission review.
Responsibilities will include processing new accreditations, distribution of Broker literature, daily and quarterly data reporting and other adhoc tasks
- Sending out documentation/packs to brokers, processing new accreditations of brokers, including personal vetting searches and company searches
- Creation of letters for the accreditation process, sending forms, requests and chasing paperwork
- Creating and updating all details relating to new and existing brokers on Blue Chip/DJ
- Processing all Intermediary removal requests including warning letters
- Quarterly monitoring of Intermediary documentation, adding copies of renewal documents to Blue Chip/DJ
- Keeping all data documentation owned by the Intermediary Oversight team up to date, including process changes
- Assisting with Intermediary Risk review process and providing updates to the Field Sales team
- Assisting with quality reviews and providing feedback to Intermediary Oversight Manager
- Assisting with Data clean-up projects
- Ensure a good understanding of all the company’s policies, procedures and compliance guidelines, installing the principles in your
daily practice to protect the company from any associated risks
- To embrace the principles of treating customers fairly in all decision making
- Provide excellent customer service and quality assurance
- Complete 35 hours of CPD training a year
- Adhere to the Data Retention policy, saving and deleting files in line with the policy

The Person
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Desirable: A good understanding of the commercial mortgage sector
- Desirable: A good understanding of mortgages and the financial services market
- Experience in dealing with customers and/or introducers and providing them with high levels of customer service
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment and in a small to medium sized organisation
- Computer literate (strong knowledge of MS Office suite - Excel, Word, Power-Point)
- Good knowledge of compliance procedures with the mortgage industry
- Adaptable & Flexible
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on own or as part of a team
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
