What's in it for me?

We are currently recruiting for a Talent Development Manager for our client based in central Lichfield, close to the train station.

The first 12 weeks will be training onsite and then the role will be hybrid, with all equipment provided.

**Salary**: up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience

Day to Day Duties
- To define, shape and drive the Company’s skills development and succession planning strategy
- To introduce succession planning tools to help aid retention and provide clear, structured career paths throughout the business
- To create talent profiles and mapping aligned to role responsibilities and company values
- To highlight skills gaps and work alongside the development team to ensure these are effectively filled
- To be able to consistently benchmark performance across all areas of the business
- Drive improvements across the business to better spot and nurture talent as well as working closely with the organisation to spot retention issues and proactively work a strategy to mitigate these
- To develop tools to assist with coaching and development of Managers to help to review talent requirements
- To ensure on -going succession planning is embedded into the Company culture and objectives
- To be able to clearly define and articulate through performance management

Essential Skills
- Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role
- Proven skill in building talent pipelines and implementing design solutions to address skill gaps
- A proven track record of creating vison/strategy and translating into operational execution in Human Resource/Talent roles
- Flexible and adaptable and able to work in a fast paced and constantly evolving work environment
- Highly motivated and determined, with the ability to be resilient and confident with all stakeholder groups
- A creative, innovative mindset and a positive can-do attitude
- Able to analyse data quickly and thoroughly and provide sound business recommendations based on data
- Previous experience of working with confidential data
- Previous experience of balancing working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high levels of quality on a consistent basis

Desirable Experience
- To identify key focus areas for Talent Management and impact on resourcing and Learning and Development strategies
- To conduct future skill set analysis aligned to business needs moving forward - look where the business want to be and what skills we need now to support the business getting there
- Introduce a mentoring scheme across the business for existing colleagues and new starters
- Observing and complying with GDPR

What training is provided?

12 weeks training onsite in Lichfield will be provided
