Warehouse Operative

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our growing team at our Sheffield warehouse. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor the jobholder will work to accurately and efficiently receive, store and dispatch goods in line with company procedures.

**Overall, Role / Main Function of the job**:

- Processing, picking and packaging orders in a timely manner, working to firm targets.
- Handling and manually unloading shipping containers when required.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles using sound manual handling techniques.
- Using computer systems including barcode scanning equipment to process orders and maintain accurate levels of stock and inventory.
- Re-working and re-labelling products to meet customers requirements.
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy at all times.
- Treating stock and merchandise with care and respect at all times.
- Following stringent Health and Safety policies at al times.
- Any other warehouser tasks required by the warehouse management team.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role.
- Able to work in a fast paced and target driven environment.
- Good all round communication skills.
- A team player who has the ability to work closely with others as well as on their own.

- Role is based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire
- Jobholder is a member of the Warehouse team.
- Jobholder may be required to travel occasionally.

**Reporting**
- Jobholder reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager.

**Other Key Internal Relationships**
- Daily contact with the Warehouse Management Team.
- Daily contact with Workshop and Warehouse colleagues.
