**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise guest flow.
- Provide menu information and assist guests with their selections, including dietary requirements.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, waiting areas, and restrooms.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a customer service role or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and colleagues alike.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in a busy environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous but not mandatory as training will be provided.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 3 per week
