**Senior Cost Planner - London**
A fantastic opportunity exists for a Senior Cost Planner to join a residential mixed-use developer.
The position will be responsible for the production of cost plans for new and current live residential London projects.
You will work with the construction team to review cost data. Driving the cost management of projects through their early design stages, advising on design and buildability from a cost aspect, updating cost plans accordingly. Assisting the land team in the analysis of new land opportunities and continued support through the acquisition process. Undertake t he detailed measurement of projects to create budgets and cost plans. Benchmarking analysis of cost data. Upkeep of departmental libraries and logs and presentation of data for board packs. Carrying out market research and analysis to inform our cost data base.
You will have a minimum of 5 year’s experience in the UK construction sector working with a UK residential developer, either direct or in a consultancy role. Co st planning on mixed use residential schemes including BTR, PBSA and hotels.
Able to work independently, accurately and consistently to set timescales and deadlines. Strong literacy, communication and analytical skills. Able to assess likely risks in a project and manage/cost those risks. Developing knowledge of the construction processes and build costs in the London market
