Night Support Worker

**Description**:
**Pay rate**:£14.00 per hour

**Shift Pattern**: 21.00 to 9.00 (7 nights per week)
- **Location**: Gainsborough

**Requirements**: UK driver’s license & own vehicle.

Unfortunately we cannot provide **_VISA_** **_sponsorship_** **and we do not hire on a relocation basis, you must currently be based in the Gainsborough area.

We are thrilled to offer a rewarding opportunity for a lively bubbly person that will interact with a 2.5-year-old little girl, she does have very complex clinical interventions but still a little girl that wants love and attention. This girl requires tracheostomy and ventilation support overnight.

This is a complex role and so applicants should be confident/have some experience with at least some of the above.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Support Workers cover all manners of support for others - from companionship and days out, to personal care and housekeeping. The main responsibilities are below:

- Trachy care and management
- PEG care - feeds via feed machine
- Medication administration
- Personal care including pad changes and Skin integrity
- CPAP via vent and Oxygen administration and management
- Physiotherapy

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Experience with Trachy paediatric.
- Enteral feeding.
- Childhood development
- Complex care
- CPAP

- Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required
