**Job Title**:Bid Manager

**Salary**:From £45,000

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Work with the Business functions to establish input into the Technical Plan and Business Planning Activity. You will be closely involved with high level requirements and initial cost/schedule/risk elements on the projects
- Develop a business case for the future prospect of the programme of work and build close rapports with key stakeholders to confirm its viability
- Establish credible bid proposals for potential projects: coordinating solution architects, vendors and key stakeholders to ensure appropriate governance and approvals to mobilise the project and hand over to the Project Delivery Manager
- Work to BAE Systems process and governance standards whilst delivering proposals that have a high probability of delivery success in a safe and secure manner
- Undertake lessons learnt / learning from experience reviews during the bid phase of each project

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential:

- You will need to have good experience within Business winning/Bid management
- Have gained strong, hands on project delivery experience and with that, have a good understanding of the project lifecycle and processes within
- Previous exposure to challenging solutions from within a complex organisation
- Have good commercial and negotiation skills as well as being a good communicator and problem solver

Desirable:

- Experience of working on IT projects
