**The role will be based at NSPCC Training Centre in Beaumount Leys Leicester, Ash Field School and at home following induction.**

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and motivated Senior Administrator to provide confidential, effective, efficient and flexible administrative support.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide a high quality professional administrative support within Discovery’s Corporate Services Team, focussing on our Discovery Educational Excellence and Partnerships (D.E.E.P.) in the key areas of: Continuous Professional Learning and Development, School to School Support and Initial Teacher Training.

To work with the Executive Assistant and the Director of D.E.E.P. to develop, implement, maintain, and evaluate the administrative and related booking systems and procedures to ensure they meet business delivery needs.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities include**:
To assist the D.E.E.P Leadership and Management team in the effective operation in administration processes and procedures within and across all work streams of D.E.E.P. including Continuing Professional Development, Initial Teaching Training. Early Career Framework and National Professional Qualification.

To provide and manage the administrative and financial support across Corporate Services and D.E.E.P. to include full co-ordination and servicing of a range of meetings; support for Project Leads; preparation and distribution of documentation and communications to Partners and Strategic Partners; uploading information onto the Trust website, co-ordinating diaries and maintaining an accurate contact database.

Liaise with the Group Finance Officers ( GFO) to co-ordinate the financial and other matters relating to the work of the Teaching School, monitoring Teaching School budgetary spending against agreed budget.

To undertake aspects of D.E.E.P finance support working in conjunction with the GFO to include drafting purchase orders, raising invoices, recording, and monitoring expenditure in liaison with the Director of D.E.E.P. to ensure efficient financial management.

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- Level 2 qualifications in maths/numeracy and English/literacy, or able to demonstrate numeracy/literacy skills sufficient for the demands of the post. Level 4 qualification in business and administration, or evidence of equivalent experience
- Experience of line management and carrying out financial procedures accurately, including invoice processing.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure, managing your own workload to meet deadlines.
- Excellent ICT skills, along with the ability to make effective use of a range of ICT software to fulfil the requirements of the role.
- Ability to deal with all but the most complex/challenging problems and take appropriate action.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to children and adults.
