**Area Sales Manager - Plumbing & Heating** Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Plumbing & Heating Industry Sector: Under Floor Heating, Plumbing Contractors, M&E Contractors, Housebuilders, Private Developers, M&E Consultants, Plumbers & Heating Merchants and Builders Merchants Area to be covered: North West Remuneration: £40,000-£48,000 + up to £16,000 Bonus Benefits: Fully expensed Car & Full Benefits The role of the Area Sales Manager Plumbing & Heating will involve: - Field sales position, selling a manufactured range of underfloor heating products - 70% stimulating demand with plumbing contractor/ installers, M&E contractors and housebuilders/ private developers - 30% of your time managing and developing relationships with plumbing & heating and builders merchants - Responsible for circa 60-70 accounts, mix of national and regional merchants (mostly regional merchants and buying groups) - Tasked with continual development of merchant base, you first point of contact should be to piggy-back merchant relationships that exist at group level, but not specifically with the underfloor heating division - Responsibility for circa £2m+ turnover (area capable of £10m, dormant for 6 months+) - Working closely with 4 field sales representatives and a BDM, who are motivated to support you with underfloor heating sales - Inheriting an area currently performing well against budget expectations - Projects will vary from domestic extensions up to large residential tower blocks and can vary in value from £2,000 up to £500,000 - Working closely with internal support and technical team at head office - Technical sale requires a features and benefits type of sale The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Plumbing & Heating with: - Plumbing or heating industry associated field sales background - Must have experience of having sold into domestic plumbing contractor/ installers or M&E contractors - Underfloor heating field sales experience is not essential as full product training will be provided - Stable career background, an occasional short stint is OK, but multiple short moves will not be considered - Technical background/ comfortable with technical product - Relationship builder, but must be happy to "ask for the order" The Company: - 200+ employees - Part of a larger group - Leading underfloor heating manufacturer - Part of a £100m+ turnover business Mitchell Maguire is a specialist construction field sales recruitment consultancy, dealing exclusively with construction field sales jobs, construction field sales vacancies and specification field sales positions within: M&E contarctors, plumbing contractors,housebuilders, private developers, underfloor heating, under floor heating, plastic piping, plumbers merchants, builders merchants, plumbing & heating merchants, soil & waste, heating, 2nd line merchants, hot & cold water, plastic piping and other plumbingand heating systems
