Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in need. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a caring nature, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

**Duties**:

- Provide personal care and support to individuals in their daily activities
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions as required
- Implement care plans and ensure individual needs are met
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
- Support individuals with dementia or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

**Skills**:

- Experience in senior care, patient care, or dementia care is highly desirable
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits if required
- Knowledge of Person Centered care and approaches
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to individual needs
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a health and social care settings

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
