We have an opportunity for a Support Worker to join our supported housing service in Kensington & Chelsea.

Beacon House contains 16 self-contained rooms for single homeless people aged 16-25. The service is conveniently located, with Gloucester Road Station being a 5-minute walk away and many bus stops less than 10 minutes away from the service, covering multiple bus routes.

As our Support Worker you will provide person-centred support to our young people, building on their life skills, aspirations and independence. Essential parts of the role include, but are not limited to, monitoring health and safety, remaining flexible and the ability to adapt in new situations.

Our customers come with a range of support needs, such as those associated with mental health, care leaver status, probation, ex-offending, domestic violence, learning disabilities and asylum seeking.

You will be required to support a caseload of at least 5 customers to:

- Identify their strengths as part of our asset-based approach and identify their needs, opportunities, rights, and responsibilities to enable them to move onto to independent living
- Plan and set targets to achieve and take appropriate action to meet their goals and aspirations
- Take part in activities and provide them with opportunities that generate aspiration and confidence

We are looking for a Support Worker with some experience of working with and supporting people who have experienced homelessness to achieve a level of independent living.

You will enable our customers to gain the necessary support from other agencies therefore you will need to be able to network/build relationships with those in other organisations.

You will need to be able to work shifts on a pre-planned rolling rota - 5 /7 days a week including mornings (from 7am), evenings (to 10pm) - these also include mid shifts and weekends.

You will need to have the correct right to work in the UK in place, as Evolve does not have a sponsorship license.
