Land Manager North West land opportunities The Company Fawkes & Reece are recruiting for a Land Manager to join an established housing and construction company based in Warrington. They have been promoting land and building homes for five generations and currently employee over 650 people and an excellent opportunityhas arisen to join the team. Land Manager role The principle purpose of the role is to identify and procure new land opportunities, from initial sourcing and negotiation through to completion, including heavy involvement in planning, layouts, financial and technical appraisals, and market research. Land Manager Key Responsibilities Include: " Identifying / negotiating / purchasing land " Ownership of your land acquisition process fully from identification, preparation, negotiation and progression of offers, through to completion " Build and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external, including land owners, agents, consultants, local authorities, legal advisers and competitors " Planning assessments and management of external consultants " Market research and selling prices and liaison with our sales team " Work closely with our estimating and technical teams to prepare accurate financial appraisals " Preparation of reports / land packs for meetings " Chairing meetings, preparing agendas and minutes for internal and external meetings " Participating in corporate entertaining / attending events on behalf of the company Land Manager - Skills, Qualifications and Experience: " Self-motivated and have a successful track record of land acquisitions achieved within a similar environment " Relevant experience, academic and / or professional qualifications. " Experience with all aspects of land purchasing (maximising offers, market research, planning, technical, commercial and estimating disciplines) " Strong network of landowners and agents and be capable of bringing quality sites to the table " highly organised, familiar with co-ordinating multiple projects simultaneously and thrive on working to deadlines.
