Collection of cash within set payment terms; liaising with customers and internal stakeholders to build strong, lasting relationships and ensuring that any payment issues are identified and resolved as early as possible;
- Accounts reconciliation and reporting; maintaining databases and creating spreadsheets, maintenance of credit control reporting tools;
- Managing Southco’s credit risk; reviewing new and existing customers using both knowledge within the business and external credit rating data to set appropriate payment terms and credit limits;
- Working alongside our Customer Service and Sales teams to manage and review orders on credit block, ensuring that issues are escalated and resolved in an efficient manner;
- Managing customer ledger accounts to ensure cash received is accurately allocated and customer invoices and statements are provided to customers in the most effective way

Is this a role for you ?
- 2+ years’ experience within a credit control function;
- Business level English - German, French or other European languages desirable but not essential;
- Excellent numeracy and communication skills;
- High level of proficiency in Excel;
- Previous experience of SAP desired;
- Team player, willing to support others whilst managing own workload effectively;
- Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external customers;
- Good attention to detail whilst maintaining ability to work under time pressure;
- Enthusiastic, passionate and committed to delivering an excellent service
